Striker Jeremy Guillemenot has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. The 21-year old Swiss came to Rapid at the end of the July from the FC Barcelona second string, whom he had joined in 2016 from his home town club Servette Geneva. The forward, who celebrated making his debut in for the Swiss U-21's in September, struggled to make the breakthrough into the SK Rapid first team, making only five appearances during his time with the club.
Guillemenot also made three appearances for the reserves in the Regional League East, scoring three goals. SK Rapid Vienna would like to wish Jeremy all the best for the next stage of his career, which will see him return to his native Switzerland with FC St. Gallen.
